There are two (well, actually three) reasons behind this:
First, one of my best friends, Ben, is a huge fan of car sharing. But what kept bugging me was that he always chose Miles—regardless of distance, time, or traffic. No matter the situation, it was always Miles. That got me thinking, and eventually, this website was born 😌
Second, Berlin (like most big cities) struggles with a chronic lack of space. This website aims to encourage people to see cars more as shared public resources rather than private possessions. After all, the space they take up is often public too. And lastly, car sharing can actually be more convenient than owning a car—no worries about insurance, repairs, or maintenance. Plus, it can be surprisingly affordable.
Having lived in Berlin for a few years and with so many car sharing options around, I started wondering: which one is actually the best and cheapest? I had a gut feeling, but I couldn't say for sure.
